Massimo Porcelli was born in 1972 in Asolo (TV) where he grew up and trained.
He met the art of photography in his father's darkroom where he first approached street photography and learned to use the tools necessary to tell a story through images. He then continued his journey alone, devoting himself to the photographic research of the Veneto territory, completed in 2002, with the publication of his images in an important book published by Biblos.
From landscape photography, he then moved on to naturalistic photography and then specialized in reportage.
For about 5 years his research has focused on searching and portraying "his" torn posters, those "solitary papers" that tell, with only the help of time, the thousand of stories hidden in his shots.
His works have been exhibited in important galleries in Venice, Asolo, Como, Cortina d’Ampezzo and New York.
